This article records configuration and changes from a historical FastGPT release. Use it to understand that release, and consult the release notes for your installed and target versions before applying dependencies, configuration, or migration steps.
This document outlines all bug fixes included in the FastGPT 4911 update, addressing seven critical platform issues across workflow management, data processing, security, and API functionality.
Resolved Bug Inventory
All resolved issues are directly tied to user-reported and internal platform flaws:
- Global system tools declared by administrative users within workflows were unable to utilize version management controls
- Contextual data errors occurred when an interactive node was positioned immediately before a tool call node in workflow execution chains
- Backup import processes failed to properly chunk content entries that contained fewer than 1,000 characters, leading to import failures
- Custom PDF parsing workflows could not save Base64-encoded images generated during the parsing process
- Non-stream API requests did not perform required CITE marker replacement in generated output text
- An undisclosed security vulnerability was present in the Python sandbox execution environment
- No confirmation button was displayed when importing plugins using curl command-line requests
Post-Fix Validation Procedures
To confirm that fixes have been successfully deployed, follow these targeted steps:
- Global Tool Versioning: Navigate to the admin panel’s global system tools configuration page, create or edit an existing declared global tool, and verify that a version history dropdown menu is visible and allows for version selection.
- Curl Plugin Import: Run the standard curl-based plugin import command, then confirm that a confirmation prompt button appears prior to finalizing the import operation.
- Non-Stream CITE Replacement: Submit a test non-stream API request with a prompt containing CITE markers, then review the response output to confirm all markers have been properly replaced.
- Small Chunk Backup Import: Upload a backup file containing content chunks under 1,000 characters, initiate the import process, and confirm the operation completes without errors.
- Custom PDF Image Saving: Run a custom PDF parsing job, then verify that all generated Base64 images are saved to the configured storage location.
Security Patch Details
The Python sandbox vulnerability fix implements strict input validation and sandbox hardening protocols to block unauthorized execution paths and restrict access to sensitive system resources, eliminating the previously undisclosed security risk without impacting normal platform functionality.
